I am a Black Kuro Matcha Bowl. The secret to success in making the perfect cup of tea is to have quality matcha and to start from scratch-a.

Curator's Notes

Having a dedicated bowl that’s pretty yet sturdy and wide enough for whisking adds another layer of purpose and enjoyment to your personal matcha ritual. The textured exterior and shape of this ceramic bowl feels nice to hold when making tea. The unique surface texture of this particular bowl is achieved by scratching the surface and applying a black glaze that absorbs into the pattern. The outside glaze is washed away and the whole is then fired leaving a richly dark black interior that pairs beautifully with vibrant green matcha.
