< style="margin: 0;">Bodegas Bagordi has farmed organically in Andosilla since 1990. The Usoa de Bagordi Gran Reserva is the only certified organic Gran Reserva in all of DOCa Rioja — a distinction that belongs to this wine alone. Fourteen generations of the Carcar family have worked this stretch of the Ebro and Ega rivers; Luis Manuel Carcar built the current winery in 1996.
60% Tempranillo, 40% Graciano, aged 24 months in French oak and 36 months in bottle. The 2008 earned 92 points from Robert Parker and a Gold at the Concurso Internacional Bacchus. At 18 years old, the oak has integrated, the tannins have softened — the fruit still carries.
